This process begins before your remaining teeth are removed. Our specialist will first take an impression of your existing teeth and gums to create accurate duplicates for placement after tooth extraction. Then, on the day of your extraction appointment, your immediate dentures are ready for insertion, delivering a natural and healthy looking smile that will step outside along with you.

What You Need to Know About Immediate Dentures

Since a specialist cannot check the exact fit of the denture in your mouth prior to extraction. Esthetic compromises may have to be made is some cases to compensate for inadequate space or structural concerns.

Temporary liners, tissue conditioner and relines may be required, These are additional products and services that may have separate fees. Your specialist will guide you through the process to make sure you receive the best attention while carefully considering your budget (and/or dental coverage)

What to Expect After Extraction and Application of Immediate Dentures

You will need to follow all postoperative instructions. Your gums and bone will recede after extraction, and therefore regular check-ups and maintenance will be necessary to monitor healing progress, and to reduce the potential for complications. In addition, since temporary linings or tissue conditioners will be required to create an optimal fit, there may need to be adjustments or replacements throughout the healing period. A permanent reline will be required to ensure a comfortable and an exact fit after you have completed the healing process
